While Keeping Up With The Kardashians is coming to an end with its 20th season, the Kardashians aren’t done with the spotlight just yet. This past Thursday at Disney’s annual Investor Day, the company announced that the Kardashians would be finding a new home on Hulu. Here, the family is set to produce a new reality TV series, hitting the streaming service next year.
For fans of the original reality show, this announcement comes as great news for those otherwise disappointed by the dreaded end of Keeping up with the Kardashians. But when one door closes, another opens, and it appears that the Kardashians won’t be going anywhere anytime soon. While there is very little information available about the new show, the Kardashian family has already commented on their family’s deal with Disney. Kris Jenner took to Twitter to celebrate the deal writing, “Excited to announce our new multi-year partnership with Hulu and Star and what’s to come in 2021 @hulu.” Kourtney Kardashian took to Instagram, posting a photo of Cinderella’s castle along with the caption “When you wish upon a star… ✨excited to announce our family’s new multi-year partnership with @Hulu @disney and what’s to come in 2021.”
Thursday marked a pivotal day for the Disney company, with Investor Day filled with a number of jaw-dropping announcements across the Disney franchises. While the outbreak of Covid-19 has thrown the entertainment industry for a loop, companies like Warner Bros and Disney have still managed to produce and develop a slew of content to keep loyal fans entertained and engaged. So although fans must say goodbye to the Kardashians for now, they can soon say hello to a whole new era of Kardashian content.
