2020. For a year that looks like a perfect score(20/20), we really did not come close to that at all. In fact, many have said this has probably been one of the worst years since the great depression. With the COVID-19 pandemic, murder hornets, the crazy election, an even more potentially crazy election coming in Georgia, among so many other aspects, 2020 has really not been the best of years, however, even in the worst situations, there is one thing we can constantly rely on, memes! Here are our TUC 5 memes that sum up all of 2020 perfectly.

The Great British Baking show really got us through quarantine. I mean that’s where we all decided to pursue a hobby in baking/cooking. The Great British Baking show was where we cried, laughed, and everything in between.

If you have been living under a rock for the past few years, this scene in the office is where Kevin spills his chili he has been making for the past few days. Just like poor Kevin, we came into this thinking it was going to a fun time and after, well we were laying on the floor with various stains on our shirt too sad to care. RIP to the office on Netflix.

I think we as a species have evolved over these past six months more than all past years combined.

And you know what? That’s fine. We are all just a cow standing in the middle of the ocean and that is completely fine for the time being.

All in all, 2020 hasn’t been perfect, but who are we to judge? Maybe mother earth is having a mid-life crisis and understandably she hasn’t been doing her best,  but who really is? In short, here’s to forgiving, forgetting, and looking ahead!
