Rich in history, Nike recalls a journey filled with revolutionary innovations and technologies since 1972. Although invented later, the runner creates a link between past and present. A visual feast featuring a white mesh base filled with navy TPU elements and beige suede. Reflective finishes, a yellowed Zoom Air sole and a special Since ’72 insole complete the look.

Reintroduced in 2022 for its 50th anniversary, the Nike Cortez Forrest Gump plans to return in a luxurious version for 2024.
Renowned over the years, the silhouette about to celebrate its 52nd birthday is planning an imminent return. Originally launched in 1972, it made its mark with an appearance in the 1994 film “Forrest Gump”, hence its nickname. In one memorable scene, star Tom Hanks receives the OG version of the Nike Cortez as a gift.
