Anyone who is a fan of Tyler, The Creator or any former member of Odd Future, all know their all known for their skating attire paired up with a fresh pair of vans. Tyler, The Creator’s partnership with Vans has coexisted for quite some time now but has reportedly come to an end. We may have gotten hints on Tyler and Vans parting ways when Tyler, The Creator dropped his song “Ego” at his Golf Wang Fashion Show in June 2016. In the song he says, “I made my shoe, f*ck that royalty check.”
It seems like Tyler has moved on from Vans to a new partnership with their lead competitor, Converse. Although there has not been any official information declared from Vans, Converse or Tyler himself, the Golf Wanger Insider Instagram page revealed Tyler’s next project.
The brand new shoe Tyler seems to be sporting in the picture is a yellow suede Converse One Star. This shoe seems to fit well with his Golf Wang Le Fleur collective. It gives off a more vintage look than his prior Vans designs. There is also bee stitched onto the heel added in as the perfect finishing touch. Nothing is official yet but there may be multiple colorways for this shoe design.
