On Friday, April 10, Rihanna hosted a live-stream for the Fenty Social Club, which brought everyone together for a celebration of a new collection. The stream included performances by Lil Uzi Vert, Octavian and live Dj’s, such as Kitty Ca$h, Dj Pedro and Stretch Armstrong.
The Barbados native took to Twitter to announce the social club expressing that Fenty’s latest Faux Leather Capsule was the center of the celebration. She also claimed that she would be in attendance.
Rihanna joined the fun with Lil Uzi Vert to dance along to songs and even took a moment to have a dance-off with the rapper.
She additionally took to Instagram to show the invitation of the Fenty Social Club poster in a home that included the Fenty logo design with the DJ names and turntables displayed right beneath them. In the background, she played “Kratez” from A$AP Twelvy’s new album Before Noon. She also commented in the post, “I’m deadass getting dressed up full face and heels.”
Recently, Rihanna’s nonprofit organization, Clara Lionel Foundation has donated $2 million for the Mayor’s Fund for Los Angeles, The Fund for Public Schools, The American Civil Liberties Union and New York Immigration Coalition during the COVID-19 pandemic. According to the foundation’s Instagram post, the support will go toward undocumented workers, elderly, and homeless people. It will also be given to children whose parents are frontline health works and first responders.
Rihanna has been using her Fenty collection to bring light to everyone during these tough times by giving a little entertainment. However, she’s also been putting her foundation to help out others.
