Hilarious but vulgar college merchandise became known after a TikTok of a girl showing off her college’s apparent merchandise suddenly went viral. On the merchandise, the acronym “CUM” is embellished, supposedly standing for Concordia University of Michigan.

While many claimed that this merchandise is Concordia University of Michigan’s new official merchandise, the University stated otherwise. “It was a surprise to us as well that someone put a video out on TikTok of that cap, and that just kind of blew up overnight,” said Lisa Liljegren, Concordia University Wisconsin’s Assistant Vice President of Strategic Communications.
Rather than on the University’s official website, this merchandise with the acronym “CUM” embellished on it is sold from a website called Prep Sportswear, where users are allowed to create their own team logos on merchandise. For anyone who goes to Concordia University, they know that the school’s acronym is CUAA, standing for Concordia University Ann Arbor, not CUM. As for who created this amusing merchandise, we don’t know.

Shortly after the TikTok that exposed the unofficial University merchandise became viral, Prep Sportswear took down the merchandise from their website, replacing it back to the University’s original merchandise with the official acronym printed on it, CUAA.
“We take pride in raising young men and women in service to Christ. And for this to happen was just really disappointing,” Lisa Liljjegren said.
