It’s been a while since Hip Hop fans have seen the Odd Future crew together, not to mention featured on a track again. Hip Hop heads believe that the idea would be great, but Tyler, The Creator thinks differently.
“I would be open to it, but I think everyone is kinda past that,” Tyler told the crowd at Converse’s Creative All-Star series. “I think some people base it on nostalgia rather than like, ‘Would it actually be good?’”

He went on to express how he didn’t feel that the group would be able to create music together since each of their styles is different. The GRAMMY winner didn’t think that it would “mesh.” Tyler also revealed that he didn’t feel that the old Odd Future albums were as good as they first thought.
“It was just a fun time, but musically, it’s like, ‘Uh, coulda did better,’” he explained. “But, for the time, it was tight.”
The last time that the OF members created an album together was back in 2012 for their The OF Tape Vol. 2. Each of the retired crew members, such as Frank Ocean, Earl Sweatshirt, Syd Tha Kyd and Casey Veggies have worked on their solo projects since the end of their time together.
As for Tyler, he’s been focusing on his GOLF fashion collection and enjoying his recent victory at the 2020 GRAMMYS, where he took home the award for best rap album of the year.
