Megan Thee Stallion released some good news for the hotties on Thursday. The Hot Girl Summer artist announced her debut album, which is titled Good News. After a very rough year for the rapper, she is finally releasing her first album after a very long-anticipated wait from her fanbase.
Back in October, she told her fans that the album was almost complete. Sharing on Twitter that she was, “waiting for two more features verses, and then the album will be complete”. Many people speculated that one of the features would be the City Girls.
The Houston born rapper already has three confirmed songs on the album. Those songs being Girls in The Hood, Savage Remix featuring Beyonce, and her most recent single Don’t Stop featuring Young Thug. However, many fans have been speculating who else will be on the album due to the words that are on the cover art.

Alongside the announcement of her debut album, Megan also announced that she’ll be revealing the winners for the Don’t Stop Scholarship, which applications were open for many women that are current college students or plan on attending college.
With such huge hits, it’s a bit shocking that Megan hasn’t released an official album yet. She gained many people’s attention with her mixtape Tina Snow, which include her very first Billboard entry Big Ole Freak. She then followed Tina Snow with a Juicy J produced mixtape titled Fever, which included her popular hit Cash Sh*t featuring Da Baby. With gaining collabs with huge musical artists like Nicki Minaj and Cardi B, you could expect that her debut album will not be a letdown.
As the year is coming to an end, 2020 seemed to show that female rap is only growing from here. Megan Thee Stallion is one out of the many female rappers that have been putting out music consistently and proving to the music industry that’s she a good rapper. You can pre-add Megan Thee Stallion’s album on streaming services until the album is officially released now.
