Puerto Rican urban icon Daddy Yankee marches against breast censer along side the non-profit organization Susan G. Komen Puerto Rico.
The artist has created a wide spread group through social media dubbed #TeamYankee where he invites fans to subscribe and join the event Race for the Cure. The yearly fundraiser collects donations directed towards groundbreaking research to cure breast cancer in Puerto Rico.
As a San Juan native, Yankee has expressed his passion in hosting this event to help fight the battle against breast cancer on the home front. Race for the Cure will take place October 8th at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico
