Lately, Kanye West has been dedicating his time to his Sunday Services which he’s taken on the road to share the experience with several cities. He’s been practicing his spiritual side out in the open and it was just a matter of time that we would receive some of that in an album form.
At West’s Sunday Service on Sept. 15, he shared with New Birth Missionary Baptist Church attendees in Atlanta that he will be releasing his ninth album Jesus Is King on Sept. 27. It didn’t take long until the video of the announcement surfaced the internet and fans were able to make the connection back to a photo that Kim Kardashian-West Tweeted.

Back in August, Kardashian-West teased Twitter with a picture of a notebook and writing of what looked like a tracklist of 12 bullet point songs placed onto of a wooden desk. It seemed as if the album would be called “Jesus is King,” since it was at the very top of the list. Hidden at the far bottom was a date, which possibly would be the release date. Next to the notebook was a bible and another notebook with religious thoughts written down.

The post sparked the conversation on a possible album release and fans were just waiting for it to be confirmed, but thankfully that confirmation is here and the photo was indeed what everyone believed it was.
