With all these events and festival coming up, it must be hard to pick and choose which one to attend to. But, rest assured knowing Mala Luna Festival is back and may be the one for you. The city of San Antonio, Texas has declared they will be hosting its second installment of Mala Luna Festival and it’ll be back bigger and better than ever. Last year’s inaugural event included hip-hop superstars and up and comers such as Rae Sremmurd, Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Yachty, G- Eazy, and a headlining set from Travis Scott. This year’s confirmed headliners for Mala Luna Festival 2017 include Future, Migos, Lil Wayne, Wiz Khalifa, and many more.
Unlike last year, the festival will take place at the Nelson Wolff Stadium rather than the Lone Star Brewery. There will be two stages featured for this festival and it’ll accommodate headliners, a list of performers and a bigger crowd for this year. The Mala Luna Festival will go on for two days, from October 28th- 29th. Tickets will be costing $149 a piece for both days.
A portion of the money coming from ticket sales will also be given to the Network for Young Artists (NYA), a local non-profit organization. This organization helps fund interested in the arts and provides more affordable classes in voice, guitar, percussion, keyboard, and dance for children and young adults from ages 4 to 20. Last year, the festival was capable of raising $15,000 for NYA. This year that number is projected to grow due to a bigger attending crowd.
