Now, some people may ask themselves, “but, who is Slowthai?”.
Slowthai – from his real name Tyron Frampton – is an emerging rapper from Great Britain. Besides rapping, he tells stories and invents fantastic movie scenarios. His work is an opportunity to bring them to life, notably through his music videos. His stories, brilliantly revisited, have as a backdrop the Brexit, Trump, and the 1%, told in Needles tracksuit sets, with Nike TNs on his feet. In the world of Slowthai, Batman dies, and the Joker survives.
In “Nothing Great About Britain”, he tells the legend of Excalibur and presents himself as a modern-day King Arthur.
Now, let’s talk about this amazing collaboration.
Slowathai got really inspired when he decided to invite ASAP Rocky on his Mazza video clip. He chose to serve us a totally insane and psychedelic scenery full of decadence. We can happily see that ASAP gets a little bit back to his old aestheticism.
