If you’re looking to see Franklin Saint on your television once again after season 4 of the hit FX Network tv show Snowfall, you won’t have to look any longer. The popular character alongside of his crew will be returning for another season. The tv show was renewed just three episodes into season 4, which is currently airing.
FX has officially decided to renew Snowfall for a fifth season in an announcement from FX Entertainment President Eric Schrier. Schrier highlighted Snowfall’s growing popularity, as well as the show’s cast and “amazing” production team led by co-creator and showrunner Dave Andron.

Snowfall takes place in the 1980s in South Central Los Angeles. It follows the high and lows of the crack cocaine epidemic as Franklin Saint (Damson Idris) and his crew highly benefit from the rising addiction of the newest drug that hit the streets of L.A. Snowfall also stars Carter Hudson, Isaiah John, Sergio Peris-Mencheta, Amin Joseph, and Angela Lewis.
The crime drama from the late John Singleton, Eric Amadio, and Dave Andron is seeing rating growth in the fourth season. It increased over 41% in the same period in Season 3 and the hit tv show averages up to 5.1 million total viewers across all platforms.
The season 4 finale of Snowfall is set to air on April 21st. By the way season 4 is heading, many fans are excited to see how this season will end. Snowfall airs on Wednesday at 10 p.m EST on FX and next day on Hulu. The previous seasons are also available to be streamed on Hulu.
