50 Cent has pretty much mastered the production of television series, like the hit show, Power, so the idea of him creating a documentary series based on specific celebrity moments sounded indeed like a “moment in time.”
The docuseries, Moment in Time, include six to eight one-hour episodes that will tell stories about celebrities like rappers 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg and Tekashi 6ix9ine, music producer Scott Storch and former NBA player Rafer Alston.
Produced by the G-Unit Film & Television Production company, the docuseries is written by Abdul Williams, who also wrote The Bobby Brown Story (2018) and The New Edition Story (2017) movies.
It will feature Snoop Dogg’s murder trial and his 1993’s Doggystyle album that hit number 1, Tekashi’s rise as a rapper and possibly the latest on his trial with the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods, and the background story of Storch and Alston. It is also expected to touch base on 50 Cent’s beef with entertainment industry executive and convicted drug trafficker, Jimmy Henchman.
There is no official set day or network that the series will be on, but 50 is saying that it is already a hit calling it “grade A.”
Recently, 50 Cent has been focusing on his producing and acting career in the series Power, which just aired their season finale. He has also been working on his Champagne, Le Chemin du Roi and making event appearances.
