Sometimes you have to go off the beaten path to experience amazing cuisine. With Savannah being next door to the Atlantic coast, last weekend I decided to travel there and indulge in delectable treats that have the potential to feed my mind, body and most essentially my senses.
Nestled on River Street, Savannah River House is home to fresh seafood, great drinks, and impeccable service. Not to mention, upon arrival servers greet me with a coupon for their famous fried green tomatoes that are paired with a sriracha cream sauce and crumbled goat cheese. Talk about heaven on a plate!
If you have a sweet tooth, make sure you try their famous praline cheesecake. Not only is it full of creamy goodness, but this dessert is also the epitome of a nut lovers dream with every bite.
This establishment is definitely a food lovers paradise!
