If you think grandparents aren’t fantasizing over the current streetwear sensation, then head on over to Germany. Jannik Diefenbach’s grandfather, 71-year-old Alojz Abram, became famous after he was seen on his grandsons Instagram decked out in some of the latest streetwear cloths. Abram has gained a fan base on the Internet and is turning heads on the streets in Germany as well. But that’s okay, he likes the fact that his clothes pop.
“He gets some weird looks from other older people,” his grandson told Complex. “But sometimes I get personal messages on Instagram saying that I’ve got the coolest grandpa in the world and that they love him. Girls comment on the pics and say he’s the cutest guy.”
Abram has always cared about his outer appearance. He can care less about the brands, and more about the clothes and making sure he always looks good and is dressed for the occasion. Comfort is also a huge bonus and plays a major role in his streetwear style.
Oh yeah, Abram has one last word for the haters who don’t understand his choice of style, although he probably wears it better than some millennials.
“I’d say that I’m not too old and that there is no such thing as “too old,” he said. “As long as I feel comfortable wearing streetwear, all these brands, I’ll continue it.”
