After this year’s round of Rolling Loud, the festival is ready to expand their horizons. Founders, Tariq Cherif and Matt Zingler have officially announced the movement will be going global. This was also confirmed on Rolling Loud’s official media platforms.
Earlier this week, Cherif released a statement at a press release saying, “Rolling Loud is the #1 Hip-Hop festival in the world. After selling out three consecutive years in a row in Miami, it’s time to take the Rolling Loud experience on the road. Rap music is the most popular and fastest growing genre of music, and the world deserves to experience curated lineups of its champions.”
With that being said, the Rolling Loud Festival will be expanding to the West Coast, United Kingdom, China and Japan. The festival is scheduled to run in the Bay Area on October 21 and 22. Then, the festival will return to Southern California on December 16 and December 16 and 17 for another round. While founders confirmed Miami will still remain the festival’s home, Rolling Loud’s global expansion will continue in 2018. Rolling Loud is also set to return to Miami in May 2018.
