On August 11th, 2020, Kanye West posted images on Twitter displaying merchandise that appears to be for his presidential campaign. However, it is still unclear as to if the merchandise will be for sale. Below is a preview of the shirt and hat for Kanye’s campaign with the words “KANYE 2020 VISION” printed on them in bold print and outlined, captioned “2020 VISION” on his Twitter account:

Later the same day, Kanye posted a picture of Rihanna wearing a shirt from a skatewear brand founded in 1976 by Brad Dorfman called Vision Street Wear, whose brand logo closely resembles Kanye’s clothing logo for his 2020 presidential campaign. Here is a quick look at his Twitter post:

Surprisingly, it appears that Kanye took the less creative route by imitating Vision Street Wear’s logo.
Kanye had his first campaign rally on July 19th, where he declared that he would not run for the Republican or Democratic party and that instead, he would run for the Birthday party—a party that was created from his slogan “when we win, it’s everybody’s birthday”, despite multiple reports that he submitted the signatures too late in several states and would be excluded from the ballot in those states.
Given this, perhaps the uncertainty regarding running for the presidential candidacy is holding Kanye back from releasing his “KANYE 2020 VISION” merchandise.
While you’re not able to snag an official “KANYE 2020 VISION” shirt or hat just yet if ever, you are able to buy a look-alike one from Amazon for only $11.95, shown below:
