Over the Los Angeles weekend, the annual Tyler, The Creator Camp Flog Gnaw at Dodger Stadium was a night to remember for most. On Sunday night, Nov. 10, fans were expecting to see Frank Ocean as the surprise guess.
The crowd was not pleased with the outcome and last-minute changes, making it clear to Drake that they did not want him. Drake even offered to stay a little longer, but the audience wasn’t having it.
After his performance, he said, “I’m here for you tonight. If you want to keep going, I will keep going.” As he was walking off stage, he added, “It’s been love. I go by the name of Drake. Thank you all for having me.”
Here's video of Drake being booed offstage at Camp Flog Gnaw, followed by chants of "we want Frank."
No telling if Drake finished his set or not, but he handled it like a pro. I've never seen a crowd take their dissapointement out on the performer like this. pic.twitter.com/RVSDqMigQL

Tyler, the Creator took to Twitter on Monday, Nov. 11 to give a piece of his mind to fans who gave Drake a hard time stating:
I THOUGHT BRINGING ONE OF THE BIGGEST ARTIST ON THE FUCKING PLANET TO A MUSIC FESTIVAL WAS FIRE! BUT FLIPSIDE, A LIL TONE DEAF KNOWING THE SPECIFIC CROWD IT DREW. SOME CREATED A NARRATIVE IN THEIR HEAD AND ACTED OUT LIKE ASSHOLES WHEN IT DIDNT COME TRUE AND I DONT FUCK WITH THAT
