Beyoncé Knowles-Carter is always known as one of the celebrities who donate and does charities in silence. With being a celebrity worth over $200 million, she always seems to give back when people are in need. Her foundation BeyGOOD was founded in 2013 during The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour. Which the foundation is set to display Beyoncé’s, charitable heart. Those charitable things would go on to include scholarships for high school students pursuing higher education, promotion for black-owned businesses, bail funds for protestors during Black Lives Matter protests, and the list goes on. BeyGOOD’s most recent charitable milestone will benefit many people who are facing evictions during the coronavirus pandemic.
The announcement was made on Dec 22nd that BeyGOOD Foundation will be offering $5,000 grants to families facing evictions or foreclosure as the eviction moratorium is slated to end later this month.

“Beyoncé is continuing her heart of support and helping where needed most. Phase Two of the BeyGOOD Impact Fund will now help those impacted by the housing crisis. The housing moratorium is set to end on December 26th, resulting in mortgage foreclosures and rental evictions. Many families are impacted, due to the pandemic that resulted in job loss, sickness, and overall economy downturn,” read a statement from the multi-Grammy award-winning singer foundation.
With the continuous charitable moments from the singer, many people are questioning what will she do next when it comes to the BeyGOOD Foundation. With the success of her previous grants, one of them being her ‘BeyGOOD Small Business Impact fund‘. Which during this charity, more than 250 small businesses received up to $10,000 grants to help support their businesses. She also helped them by promoting some businesses on her website.
The applications to apply for the grant will be available on Jan 7th, 2020, which they will they’ll choose between 100 recipients. After selecting the recipients, they’ll distribute the grants in late January. They’ll also do another round of selecting 100 more recipients and distributing grants in February.
