If you’re interested in the way Jennifer Lopez keeps her skin looking flawless, the secret is now out. And in just a few days, you’ll even be able to get your hands on these special products perfected by the beauty herself.
The 51-year-old artist, actress, and mom is now launching her skincare line, JLO Beauty. The collection includes eight products: glow multitasking serum, eye creams, sheet masks, cleansers, two moisturizers (a SPF 30 and hydration), dietary supplements (contains vitamin A, C, and E), and a complexion highlighter.
“I wear tons of makeup and I like to be able to wash it off at the end of the day [with That Hit Single Gel Cream Cleanser] because, honestly, my favorite face is my face with no makeup. And I always love to discover her at the end of the day again,” Lopez expressed in the Allure interview. “That’s the J.Lo at home, you know — a bun in the hair, only these products on my face. And that’s it. I’m just like everybody else when I’m at home. I want to feel good.”
In a video for JLO Beauty posted on Lopez’s page, shared that she’s been asked for years about her skincare routine and felt that it was time to give that to women. She also explained how she tried different products from drug stores and high-end skincare lines, but it all went back to olive oil. This special ingredient has been a family secret for years and she wanted her line to include that naturalness. Lopez even touched base on making women feel that they’re beautiful, powerful, and loving regardless of their age.
“The hero ingredient is a secret from my mom and aunt: olive oil,” Lopez expressed in an Allure interview. “It’s nature’s secret ingredient we don’t use enough of, but you also don’t want to smell like a salad. So [the JLo Beauty Olive Complex] is a modernized version [with] olive-derived squalane, fermented oil, olive leaf extract, and extra-virgin olive oil.”
