Social media always has its personal jokes where you just have to be on that social media site to get said joke. The Twitter joke of the month was started all because of the announcement of the Covid-19 vaccine being ready to be used around the world. Twitter user lottidot posted a tweet stating that Black people’s DNA is just stronger and more advanced. Which many people that responded to her made the joke that black people were going to get superpowers.
Many people definitely made fun of the Twitter user afterward, but the majority of Black Twitter rallied behind her to turn a conspiracy theory into something for a comical laugh.
As black people, genetically we are stronger and smarter than everyone else, we are more creative, on December 21 our Real DNA will be unlocked and majority will be able to do things that we thought were fiction. Learn who u are as a people 👩🏽🦯 they wanna make us average

In case you’re wondering, all of the tweets about black people getting superpowers on the 21st isn’t true. It’s still quite hilarious to see everyone make jokes about it, especially during the time of losing so many black celebrities that are seen as heroes in people’s eyes. With a year filled with tragedy and lost lives, it always comes down to Black Twitter brightening the mood with their jokes and memes. Sometimes something that’s seen as a joke could always brighten the mood in a certain community.
