Yesterday was game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals between the Cavs and the Celtics. The Cavs were on fire in the first half of the game but unfortunately fell short again with the score being 107-94. The Cavs had heat under their feet and outscored the Celtics in the 1st and 2nd quarter, but the Celtics came back and outscored the Cavs in the 3rd and 4th quarter. Cleveland was 37 of 80 for field goals(46.3%), 10 of 31 for 3 pointers(32.3%), they made 32.3%, and shot 58.8% from the free throw line. Boston was 40 of 92 for field goals(43.5%), they were also 10 of 31 for 3 pointers(32.3%), and shot 85% from the free throw line. This game was extremely intense because it was a game that could tie up the series or allow Boston to take a 2-0 lead. If you did not get a chance to view the game there’s a link below to the highlights from the 48-minute game.
Although the Cavs did not win, LeBron still recorded a triple-double as he normally does in every game. He played a total of 39 minutes which allowed him to put up 42 points, 10 rebounds, and 12 assists. When you watch Lebron on the court, it makes you start to wonder what can’t he do. He’s one if not the greatest player and continues to prove that game after game. Not to mention, LeBron scored most of those points in the first half and accounted for most of the teams’ points.
Outside of his triple-double let me just highlight this incredible dunk by LeBron!

Kevin Love played 35 minutes and was right behind LeBron with 22 points, 15 rebounds, and 2 assists. Kevin Love’s game has been improving by each game. He and LeBron definitely make a good pair, but he has to get more of his shots to fall.
Kyle Korver was the 3rd leading scorer with 21 minutes played and 11 points, 1 rebound and no assist. If Kyle Korver actually becomes a starter he can probably double the points he produces each game.
Now for The Celtics, their leading scorers were Jaylen Brown, Terry Rozier, and Al Horford.
Jaylen Brown played 35 minutes had 23 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 assists. It is clear to see that Jaylen Brown is gonna be in this game for a long time. Yesterday he was hard to stop.
Terry Rozier had 18 points, 2 assists, and 5 rebounds. He also played for a total of 36 minutes.
Lastly, Al Horford had 15 points, 4 assists, and 10 rebounds. It seemed like last night he kept going to the free throw line allowing the Celtics to take the WIN.
Now, Game 3 is on Saturday, May 19th, 2018 in Cleveland, Ohio at the Quickens Loan Arena at 8:30 pm. The Cavs will be in their town and on their turf. So with that being said do you think the Cavs will finally defeat the Celtics and make the series 2-1? LET ME KNOW IN THE COMMENTS BELOW.
