Last week tickets went on sale to see two of the hottest acts in rap today, Lil Uzi Vert and Playboi Carti. The two were teaming up for the ‘ 16*29 Tour’ paying homage to each of their respective cities. Carti and Uzi would be hitting the road together for the first time since the ‘Left Right tour’ nearly two years ago, the hype from just the announcement was unparalleled.
But then Uzi tweeted this.
Not going on tour wit carti need 2 focus 😔🦇

So now the joint tour has now become a solo Playboi Carti tour. Regardless of Uzi removing himself from the bill, the concert still sold out in minutes.
But some hope for all Lil Uzi Vert fans, I’m sure Lil Uzi will still be on the tour, or at least at a couple stops. Lil Uzi Vert is known to make statements just for the attention and this might be another one. We’ll see if he was serious once the tour kicks off November 17 in Denver.
