Solange left the hospital July 14th against doctor’s will to perform her album, “A Seat at at the Table”, London’s Lovebox Festival. She stated, “I want to come back when I’m feeling better because I’m giving you the best that I’ve got, but I still have much more in me. But I knew I was not missing seeing you and all of these popping ass black and brown people. So thank you for always being there for me. I have so much gratitude.” She later performed at Chicago’s Pitchfork Festival on July 16th.
Solange is headlining for upcoming major festivals this year like New York’s Panorama Festival as well as another round of AfroPunk Festival in Atlanta, Georgia. While she is still recovering her fans have been uplifting her spirits with their unconditional love and support.
