It’s “Back to the Streets” for Saweetie after publicly announcing her break up with rapper Quavo.
Rumors had been spiraling that the two parted ways after fans noticed they unfollowed each other on Instagram earlier this month.
Saweetie took to Twitter on Friday and expressed that the relationship caused her many too much pain and hardship. She also hints that the reason for the break-up was Quavo’s infidelity.
“Love isn’t real when the intimacy is given to other women,” penned the “Icy Girl” singer.
I’m single. I’ve endured too much betrayal and hurt behind the scenes for a false narrative to be circulating that degrades my character. Presents don’t band aid scars and the love isn’t real when the intimacy is given to other women.

She continued on in another tweet saying that she is at peace with the situation and that she is looking forward to evolving.

Less than three hours after Saweetie posted her tweets Quavo responded by saying that he is disappointed but wishes her the best.

In a prior tweet he also implies that his old flame is making a big deal about the situation.

Since the exchange, Quavo has been getting heat from fans, but his sister Shara came to his defense saying that Saweetie isn’t a great person. This led to a back and forth debacle with Shara and Saweetie’s friend Whitney.

But the drama doesn’t stop there, it is now rumored that Quavo reprocessed the 2021 custom Bentley he gifted Saweetie for Christmas. The story was leaked by MTO News but has yet to be confirmed by either rapper. However, the internet is basking in the story.
