Since Rihanna released her ANTI album back in 2016, She has been in two movies, co-hosted and won the Met Gala, launched her own makeup company Fenty Beauty, as well as a lingerie line, she began sharing Instagram stories to confirm that there are new songs brewing up.

Back in July, Rolling Stone stated that Rihanna was working on an album that was “ devoted to explore her Caribbean roots“ and another pop-inspired album. “[Rihanna’s team] have, no lie, 500 records for this project [from] different producers and writers,” one dancehall producer told the outlet… I’ve been flying to Miami, flying to L.A., cutting records nonstop for this project.”
As of right now, Rihanna has given no further information as to what exactly the new music is coming but, it’s great that she wants to see that she’s in the process.
