For 2018, Offset’s campaign was one to go down in history as a year filled with career highs, bonding, heartbreak, romance, and commercial dominance in the industry. However, there’s always room to improve upon yourself. As the new year approaches us, offset took some time out of his day to issue a New Year’s resolution, promising a new sense of self in the year to come.
“2019 WILL BE A BETTER ME,” he writes, on Instagram. “MORE WISER BETTER STRUCTURE. BETTER PRAYS AND FAITH BELIEVE IN ME PLEASE.” He hints at a change to the entire public, further enticing empathy. “LETS STOP HATING ON EACH OTHER AND GET MONEY TOGETHER. LET MIND OUR OWN BUSINESS SO WE CAN BUILD EACH OTHER INSTEAD TEAR EACH OTHER DOWN…”
On the contrary, this is not necessarily indicative of the way 2018 played out. The successes of the Migos’ Culture II album, cemented him as a fundamental element of one of music’s biggest groups. Also, he is also a man that has collected cars to spare( as can be seen below). As well, his highly publicized romance with fellow rapper Cardi B became a highly anticipated and circulated narrative that coins the “rise and fall“ nature, and a rekindling. Subsequently, it is not necessarily clear what the new Offset may appear to be, but the best of luck to him and congratulations on a great year.
