Do you feel like you have what it takes to compete on a big stage against other talented artists? Well, Netflix has just announced they will be doing their first ever reality competition shows on their streaming service.
Rhythm and Flow is going to be the name of the show with T.I, Cardi B, and Chance the Rapper as the judges. Auditions for the show will take place in New York, Atlanta, and Chicago. They will be joined by other artists from the industry as special guests on each episode.
The show is aimed to find the next breakthrough hip-hop star almost like American Idol. This 10 episode, hour long series will premiere in spring 2019. John Legend, who is the executive producer of the show and his Get Lifted Film Company will be doing production as well as James Collins.
Netflix has recently been taking a turn down the reality television lane with their new series Queer Eyes for the Straight Guy that turned out to be a hit. With so many big-name stars, Rhythm and Flow should be nothing less than another hit for the network.
