The Coachella 2019 Lineup has been announced and names seem to be set in stone. Many were curious as to why certain contestants were left out this year. From what wen know, the plans were there but due to lack of agreement for better terms, these arrangements just weren’t possible for 2019.
Kanye West was within the rumored headliners. Besides all the “Trump talk”, West had a very productive 2018 to be able to honor him a headliner position. Kid Cudi will also be performing at this year’s Coachella. Who wouldn’t want to see the two rejoice once more and perform some tracks from “Kids See Ghosts”?
Unfortunately, West’s team and Coachella organizers could not pin Kanye down to anything concrete this year. According to TMZ, West did not want to settle to the stage design. According to the source, West stated:
“These 40 x 60 are so archaic. It’s the same type of stage on which Shakespeare’s work was performed hundreds of years ago.”
While we won’t be seeing West on the big stages of Coachella, we still expect a lot from him this year. Let’s not forget the current whereabouts “Yandhi” are still in the air. 2019 could be his year.
