Justin Bieber, Daniel Caesar, and Giveon take viewers on a sweet ride in their “Peaches” music video.
The song “Peaches” dropped alongside its music video on Friday and is currently trending #3 on YouTube with over 8 million views, which is a strong start for its first 24 hours.
In the video, the trio hit the streets in a vintage car with neon lights illuminating their way. They each take turns driving and sitting on the hood of the car as they vibe to the smooth upbeat hit. In between shots of the artists driving around town, they are seen dancing and singing to the camera in various rooms with vibrant and mood lighting.
The R&B song has strong funk influences and a modern charm. In the chorus, Bieber fondly sings about Georgia peaches, California weed, and his wife Hailey Bieber.
Daniel Caesar delivers the majority of his solo while laying on the roof of the car. He pours out about his love interest who is unsure about their relationship, but they are all Caesar has ever wanted.

Giveon is seen in multiple locations gushing to the camera about his eternal love who is perfect for him despite his past.
“Don’t think you wanna know just where I’ve been, oh. Done bein’ distracted. The one I need is right in my arms, oh. Your kisses taste the sweetest with mine and I’ll be right here with you ’til the end of time.”

With the “Peaches” song and video release, also came Justin’s sixth studio album “Justice.” In February, he opened up about the album’s title on Instagram.
“In a time when there’s so much wrong with this broken planet we all crave healing and justice for humanity. In creating this album my goal is to make music that will provide comfort, to make songs that people can relate to and connect to so they feel less alone.” wrote Justin.
He acknowledged that while creating music cannot solve injustice, it is a way to uplift and bring people together.

The combination of Bieber, Caesar, and Giveon is a smooth and melodic sound that no one was really expecting. However, it has been welcomed with open arms.

Daniel Caesar’s last release was his album “CaseStudy 01” from 2019. Giveon on the other hand has been climbing his way up in popularity after his feature on Drake’s song “Chicago Freestyle.” On March 12 he released his album “When It’s All Said and Done…” which combined his 2020 EPs.
