It has been over a year since we last received a project from rapper Jeezy. The Atlanta native announced the anticipated release of his 8th studio album, Pressure, via social media with a short trailer. The trailer featured Jeezy hopping out a white Ferrari while a snippet of an unreleased track plays in the background.

The 13-track album is loaded with features from 2Chainz, YG, Tory Lanez, Rick Ross and more. But the most notable of all the features would be Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole on the track ‘American Dream’. While many fans have been hoping for a Kendrick and Cole collab project for years, big ups to Jeezy for re-sparking the idea of such a project.
In a recent interview with Billboard, Jeezy boasts that “[he is] in a good space right now” and is “going to speak [his] truth” on this album. He also discusses how his confidence has allowed him to be secure in what he can bring to the table. Jeezy recognizes his position in rap and is looking to be a mentor to the young rappers out now. With the constant use of hashtags like #TrustYaProcess on social media, we know Jeezy is trying to look out. But he isn’t just talking. Jeezy will be joined by up-and-coming rapper Tee Grizzley on his Cold Summer Tour. The 30-city tour begins February 7, 2018 in Anaheim and ends sometime in March in Houston at the House of Blues. Pre-sale tickets for the shows will be available on December 12th.
Pressure will be available for download and streaming on this Friday, December 15th. For pre-order, pre-sale concert tickets and exclusive apparel visit jeezyshop.com.
