2019 has started off to a banging start for Cardi B. The Dominican native of the Bronx opened the year by becoming the first female artist since Lauryn Hill to win the Grammy award for Best Rap Album. However, she is the first solo female rap artist to claim the award. Her latest single, Please Me featuring Bruno Mars currently sits at number 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart and currently sits at number 2 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.
To capitalize on the momentum, the dynamic duo of Cardi B and Bruno Mars released the visual for the charting single and so far the reviews of the visual are overwhelmingly positive.
