Atlanta had much to offer this weekend, but if you didn’t attend Boiler Room x AXE Music: One Night Only, you definitely missed out. The night was filled with big talents and a room full of youthful energy.
Boiler Room x AXE Music: One Night Only was hosted in the heart of the city and in Atlanta’s very own Opera Nightclub. The event’s line up consisted of Lil Yachty, Kodie Shane, Zaytoven, Hourglass and many more. This event took place Friday, November 9th. Doors opened at 8pm, but the show did not officially start around 9pm.
Prior to the event, in order to attend, One Night Only was RSVP only. The event was being promoted all week, therefore attendees had enough time to RSVP and bring one along with them. The line wrapped around the entire venue and the show was almost at its full capacity from the very start.
Fans were beyond ecstatic for their favorite artist to get on stage. Each second of their wait became worthwhile once each artist hit the stage. Ziggy2Playa opened up the show, while Lil Yachty was the closing act.
The energy during this show was unmatched especially when Kodie Shane and Lil Yachty come on. Kodie Shane’s dance moves easily won over a few news fans that night. Songs produced by Zaytoven were brought to live on stage, which brought back some nostalgic memories to the trap and R&B community. Hourglass‘s vibe was contagious. Last but not least, Lil Yachty put on a well-lit show while getting the chance to perform new songs from his new album, “Nuthing 2 Prove” for the very first time. And if you’ve ever been to a Lil Boat show, be prepared to be challenged to a water fight!
