Currently living in a digital era, it is easy for things to take a dark turn if the wrong person finds your phone. In Na-mi’s case, her phone is found by a tech-savvy serial killer named Jun-Yeong. She becomes his next victim when he easily hacks into her phone to track her every move, hoping to isolate her from those closest to her.
Bird Box
This sci-fi thriller begins by introducing mass suicides happening in various countries. No one knows why people are suddenly jumping in front of cars or taking their own lives. Mallory, who is pregnant, goes for a checkup with her doctor, and on her way out she sees a stranger slamming her head on a window. She runs to her sister and as they drive off, they see the entire neighborhood turn into complete chaos. Mallory is saved by a group of strangers who have found shelter in a house. Eventually, as supplies run out trust does too, and betrayal is inevitable.
What Happened to Monday
This sci-fi thriller is about septuplet sisters who are born in a world where the government only allows one child per family. Nicolette Cayman, a political leader, introduced a program where if an extra child is born, they are cryogenically frozen until the planet begins producing enough natural resources. The sister’s grandfather takes them in after the death of their mother and begins a plan to keep them all alive. They are named after the days of the week and grow up living one life out in the real world. When Monday goes missing one day, their plan begins to go terribly wrong.

This zombie thriller is centered around PC gamer Jun-su, who lives in Seoul. When he finds out that there is a deadly virus that makes people flesh-eating monsters, he isolates himself in his apartment. Having not been prepared for a zombie apocalypse, he begins rationing the water and food he has, which isn’t enough for more than a few days. As he starts to lose hope, he decides to video-log his experience and post it on social media with the hashtag #Alive. Moments after deciding to take his own life, he spots another tenant across his complex and together they come up with a plan to survive.
The Good Nurse
This crime thriller is about Amy, a nurse, and mother who is diagnosed with a fatal heart condition. She befriends the new nurse, Charles, that helps her with her patients and knows about her condition. When one of Amy’s patients suddenly dies, the police are brought in from the hospital to prevent legal liability. They later find out that Charles has a disturbing history at the nine hospitals used to work for. He is suspected to have gotten away with killing at least 29 patients.
