It’s not every day we see our favorite artist on The Price is Right, but Anderson .Paak showed us that celebrities get excited over it too.
According to CBS, in celebration of the GRAMMYS, The Price is Right is held a Music Week that consisted of different GRAMMY-nominated and winning artists from every genre to take a spin on the wheel.
Anderson .Paak was first to kick off this special week which aired Jan. 20. The Oxnard artist was excited from the experience as he ran down to the stage showing off some dance moves. He also played drumroll as one contestant played “Check Out,” where she ended up winning. The excitement he showed from not only being on the show, but the contestant winning expressed through videos and photos.
He took to Instagram to share that it was, “Easily one of my greatest achievements. Thanks #priceisright I had a blast.”
There were several artists to follow over that episode. The week included Patrick Stump and Pete Wentz from Fall Out Boy, the band Haim, Diplo, and Meghan Trainor to end the week.
Andy is nominated for best R&B performances with his single “Come Home” featuring Andre 3000. He also is nominated for best R&B album for his 2019 Oxnard album. In the past, he’s taken home one GRAMMY in 2018 for best rap performance on “Bubblin.” Altogether, he’s had five nominations in total since he’s career’s taken off.
The GRAMMYS take place Sunday, Jan. 26 in Los Angeles at the Staples Center at 5 P.M. PST make sure to check it out to see which artist will be taking one home.
