The most anticipated movie of 2018, Black Panther is already selling out theaters and making Marvel history before its release date.
Many Marvel fans have been waiting for the first black superhero to make an appearance on the big screen since the character was first introduced in 1966!
Black Panther focuses on the superhero King T’Challa in a fictional country named Wakanda, played by lead actor Chadwick Boseman.
According to the website Fandango, pre-sale tickets for Black Panther broke its first 24-hour pre-sale record, beating 2016’s Marvel film Captain America: Civil War; which is no surprise, considering how long fans have been waiting and Black Panther’s phenomenal cast.
Actress Lupita Nyong’o, who portrays Nakia in Black Panther, shared to Instagram that she could not even get her own tickets after she announced via Twitter that advanced tickets were on sale because they were sold out in 15 minutes!

Black Panther is directed by Ryan Coogler, Marvel’s first African American director, whose previous work include Creed and Fruitvale Station.
Coogler also teamed up with rapper Kendrick Lamar to produce “Black Panther: The Album,” which is the first time EVER Marvel Studios will use original recordings for a film!
Lamar has not revealed the full track list or contributing artists on the album, but he has released 2 out of 14 tracks so far. The newest track “King’s Dead” features Jay Rock, Future, James Blake, AND Kendrick Lamar.
The Black Panther soundtrack is available for pre-order now and it will be released on February 9th.
It is a MUST we support this record-breaking film and if you haven’t heard the latest track release on the album, check it out below.
