For those awaiting Supreme’s much-anticipated collaboration with Louis Vuitton, we may have some bad news. On July 11th, Louis Vuitton’s client service department sadly informed that the Supreme x Louis Vuitton collaboration will no longer be sold in stores. Therefore, yes, New York’s pop-up shop for this release has been canceled, along with any U.S pop-up locations in the near future.
This collaboration has been talked about since the beginning of the year. Previews were released early on and NYC was going to have their hands on this long-awaited collection this Friday, July 14th. Sadly, the city also denied the brand access to a location in NYC since it was deemed “unbeneficial” to the community.
Although New York fanatics may have missed out, the collection was received well in all other participating locations such as Sydney, Paris, Tokyo, and LA. In fact, Tokyo’s pop up location was shut down early due to lack of product since its pieces were sold out in a matter of seconds.
