On Saturday September 12th, 2016 at the Manhattan Center. Style Fashion week wrapped up it’s three day coverage of it’s annual Style Fashion Week coverage with designs from. The Day 3 lineup included SS17 collections from designers Orlando Dugi, Patricia Michaels, Janay Deann, Ydamys Simmons, Bradelis New York, Danny Nguyen, and Adrian Alicea. While I thoroughly enjoyed all that I got to see from the finale there was one collection that truly stood out to me…..

The Adrian Alicea SS17 collection began with a two minute video that was very well choreographed and presented an S&M vibe reminiscent of what you would see in an earlier Madonna music video such as Human Nature except this took it to the extreme which I surprisingly enjoyed. I am a proponent of those that think outside the box and provide choreography and a story to a clothing presentation because after all, it’s only so many garments you could look at throughout a day no matter how great the garments are. Thankfully I enjoyed everything about the Adrian Alicea presentation. While there were some delays in the presentation starting on time, it was well worth the wait as the collection had several looks that any one whom witnessed the show LIVE was able to resonate with and wanted to buy for themselves or their significant other.

I can not stress enough how much I love floral print designs and this look from the Adrian Alicea SS17 collection was my absolute fave. I love the free flowing nature of the garment as well as the multi color floral print patterns to make the dress more dynamic.
