Snoop Dogg has plans to take over the fashion scene since the release of his new, ’90s, hip-hop inspired clothing line. The rapper partnered with global fashion streetwear label JoyRich, based in L.A. to help make his dreams a reality. Oh yeah, and to come for Gucci and Louis Vuitton’s pockets.
Snoop Dogg took a stroll down memory lane with this one. In order to excel his representation of the ’90s he whipped out a couple old-school Cadillacs and traffic signs to decorate his set. A couple threads gave off West Coast inspired silhouettes as models embraced the runway with Snoop’s clothing line. He was looking to portray a ’90s fun backyard party and he did just that without a hitch. The hip-hop vibe of the show was so realistic that he had to invite a younger version of himself, his son Cordell Broadus, on board to help debut his new collection. Broadus not only rocked a couple pieces from the collection, but he produced a video of interviews his dad partook in regarding his collection and projected then on the big screen at Made L.A. His dad even struck a pose rocking the line.
Everthing is expected to release on Oct 20 and it’s authenticity might just shake up a crowd, so stay tuned for further info on the runway collection.
