Nike is set to release one of its most coveted Dunk collaborations ever, the Wu-Tang Clan x Nike Dunk High, for the first time.
Over the weekend, Nike released a mysterious video on social media showcasing the unreleased Wu-Tang Clan x Nike Dunk High, enveloped by bees—a nod to its killer bee-themed colorway. According to Sneaker Files and @zSneakerheadz on Instagram, this retro collaboration (style code: HJ4320-001) is slated for a fall release.
The “Wu-Tang” Nike Dunks, originally created in the late ’90s, were extremely rare with only 36 pairs believed to exist. The design features the “Goldenrod” Dunk colorway with the iconic Wu-Tang Clan logo on the heel counter and tongue tag. The new release is expected to replicate the original “Black/Pollen/White” color scheme.
Original pairs occasionally appear on the secondary market and at auctions, often commanding prices over $10,000. Currently, a size 7.5 pair is listed on Sotheby’s for $27,000.
Nike has yet to confirm an official Wu-Tang Nike Dunk retro release date.
