Finally and well overdue, KITH’s Ronnie Fieg has joyfully announced a new permanent location in Los Angeles, California. Growin up in Queens, New York, Fieg stuck to the west coast culture limiting his locations to Brooklyn, SoHo, and Miami. The store opened cohesively with the brand’s new collection, “Long Live the King,” starring Lebron James. The collection dropped on Friday, February 16, 2018, with the Los Angeles store releasing the collection a day in advance to other KITH stores. Additionally, the rest of the collection also dropped at 11 AM EST on Kith.com on Saturday, February 17, 2018.
Through successful experimental pop-ups, as Fieg stated, he decided to expand the brand to the west coast giving the top 3 cities in the US a taste of what he has to offer to the industry. “I wanted to see how and if the people would interact with the brand. I was overwhelmed with the reaction…Another dream and notch in the timeline come to fruition this Friday when Kith permanently touches down in the City of Angels,” he stated. There’s no doubt that this new store will bring in a great notice, especially with this new drop and opening all occurring at the start of All-Star Weekend.
Last week, Fieg posted this Instagram picture and questioned the people by storm on whether it was a reality or not. Just one day later and the news was confirmed, adding one more event for people in the city to anticipate. The location of the store is located on 8500 Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood, California; I would highly suggest you stop by. For more information and future drops, stay tuned to KITH.com.
