Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week is a series of international fashion weeks sponsored by Mercedes-Benz and produced by IMG. The fashion launched in 1995 and has been cultivating the industry for the past 23 years. This year is no different.
On May 19, 2019, MBF launched in Australia to give you a fabulous show. Although, you are probably wondering: Why is a car company putting together fashion shows? Well, Fashion and cars are very similar, because making the choice of what to wear or what to buy is extremely important. It’s an accessory that could potentially make you feel amazing.
Mercedes Benz is a part of 60 fashion global platforms that give talented young designers a chance to present their work for one interesting week. These designers come from all over the world, ranging from Italy, Australia, and even Russia; to the all-inclusive International Designer Program known as IDEP. You can expect just about every country to participate and every prominent designer to be there. Designers featured during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week includes notable designers such as Rosenthal Tee.

Many of the designers’ pieces exude the definition of summer. From the flowy short dresses to exemplary shorts, you were not disappointed. A young designer named Thurley showed what it would be if you were to take a flight right now to your dream vacation, with his collection: The Resort ‘20 Collection.
Being that this was the overall theme, you could sense the atmosphere to be cheerful and free. Each collection brought its own unique style, sense, and feel for what is known as “resort”. But all have in common the colorful and dreamy clothing that stood out amongst spectators.
Mercedes-Benz has started a campaign, so you can keep up with all things MBF. This gives the opportunity for everyone to be involved, watch events, and stay connected all throughout the upcoming fashion weeks.
