Gemy Maalouf F/W 17 Collection Exudes Elegance !

This past Wednesday, I had the privilege of being a guest at the Gemy Maalouf Fall/Winter 2017 presentation at the Bowery Hotel. When I arrived, the room was dimly lit and the ambiance of the room was very Great Gatsby esque.

The ambiance of the room wasn’t the only thing that exuded elegance and class. Gemy’s F/W 2017 collection featured structured cocktail dresses and gowns that were rich in embroidery from the gold trimming at the waist line, polka dot prints, sheer dresses with floral designs (My favorite !) and thigh length ruffles on the skirts of the gowns.

What I thoroughly enjoyed about the Gemy Maalouf FW17 presentation was the versatility of it. Some gowns were short in length above the knee, others right right above the ankle. and others were below the ankle. The collection literally featured a piece for every occasion. Even if gowns and cocktail dresses aren’t your thing, the collection also featured high waisted bell bottoms in the black and white variety.

 

Overall Gemy Maalouf F/W 17 delivered a collection that embodied elegance, structured architecture , class, and an edgy sass with pieces tailored for any and every occasion.
