Adidas has been on a roll for the past decade, releasing some of the hottest, most comfortable sneakers, athleisure wear, and sports gear. The brand has also been proud to broadcast that the powerful world of music has successfully impacted their booming business throughout the past years. They’ve collaborated with huge artists in the music industry like Pusha T, Pharrell Williams, and Kanye West for timeless collections that people have fought to spend their hard earned dollars on. But this season Adidas Spezial is taking a trip overseas, in honor of reggae legend Bob Marley.
Although sports like cricket, football, and track& field are a significant part of the Jamaican culture, Bob Marley and his Jamaican roots reggae artists were one of the first people to wear Adidas on a daily basis in a non-athletic fashion. The legends fashion choice has inspired Adidas Spezial Spring/Summer 2017 Collection, and they’re currently debuting the rasta look for the line. The lookbook includes Adidas retro sneakers, tracksuits, soccer shirts, and parkas, modeled by reggae artist Chronixx.
