Emo Nite – Where the life of the party is YOU
This past weekend, the Masquerade was host to Emo Nite. Emo Nite isn’t the typical go out and watch artists perform on stage while you sing along from the ground floor. At Emo Nite YOU are those artists. You have the freedom to walk up on stage and take control of the audience either by yourself, with your best friend or with the drunken guy or girl that you met at the bar. There was nothing but good vibes all around the entire night. Hearing the entire room sing along to Blink 182’s First Date as if they were actually on stage was a refreshing sight. Each song that came on created a different atmosphere amongst attendees, from moshing and dancing with a partner to head banging while holding on to your neighbor. Emo Nite is an event well worth the exhaustion you will feel the next morning.
