With the 10th anniversary of Nicki Minaj’s debut album ‘Pink Friday‘ just passing, the day was filled with many people remembering the iconic album from the female rapper. The album is filled with features from some of the top rap artists and amazing one-liners that people still say today. Although she gave us wonderful feature verses that proved why she formally charged 50k a verse, no album out, Pink Friday is the album that made many people in the rap industry take Minaj seriously as a rapper.
The album is certified platinum three times. It also went #1 on Billboard Top 200. With the success and anniversary of the album, Minaj wanted to give her fans a special surprise.
Not only were Minaj’s fans able to use the customize Pink Friday filter on Instagram, but Minaj also released an anniversary edition of Pink Friday. However, the huge news that people were more excited about was the announcement of Minaj’s docuseries. A documentary was already in the works around the time when Minaj released her album, Queen. The rapper released a sneak peek of it on her Instagram where she’s seen emotionally crying and expressing herself about someone.
This docuseries will be directed by Emmy-nominated director Michael John Warren, who’s also known for Jay-Z’s cult classic Fade to Black documentary. The docuseries will be premiering on HBOMax and will be divided into six 30-minute long episodes.
It hasn’t been confirmed that the sneak peek clip that Minaj posted on her Instagram is a part of the docuseries. A release date wasn’t set for the docuseries just yet, but many people are excited to see Minaj’s personal life, rap lifestyle, and etc. Especially with Minaj recently having a baby boy and being known for having a private life with her recently taking a lot of social media hiatuses.

It hasn’t been reported when the docuseries will be released, but many people can’t wait to get an inside look at Minaj’s life. It was encouraged by Minaj to follow HBOMax social media pages for upcoming news for her newest docuseries.
