Megan’s scholarship, named after her latest single, “Don’t Stop,” featuring Young Thug, will award two women of color a $10,000 scholarship who are pursuing an associates, bachelors, or post- graduate degree. Participants can apply for the scholarship while pursuing any field of study.
“In honor of all the young women out there who don’t stop working hard to get their education,” the application website reads. “Women remain underrepresented and undervalued in society and female students of color are at a larger disadvantage when it comes to access to financial resources.
The essay for the scholarship should basically be about yourself, what you are majoring in, and why you need the degree! Doesn’t matter how many words or pages just do your best hotties !

The value of education is very important to Megan, as she herself is a college student attending Texas Southern University in Houston to pursue a bachelor’s degree in health administration. Although the singer is growing more in her music career, she has future plans outside of music; Megan plans to own and run an assisted living facility after her graduation. Her scholarship and perseverance shows how the musician advocates for the importance of education while still working hard to reach your goals.
“I watched my grandmother take care of my great-grandmother all of my life, and I know my family wasn’t the only family living that way” Megan explained on an episode of the Zach Sang Show. “So I just figured that I would open up up an assisted living facility that would help other families. And I’ll give my classmates and everyone who just graduated from college a job at the facility because we need that experience!”
