It is no secret that siblings fight at times, but these two just never seem to stop. Kim Kardashian and her older sister Kourtney Kardashian Barker are feuding once more. In the Keeping Up With The Kardashians Season 4 premiere, we see Kim and Kourtney getting into yet another heated argument. The beef ignited once Kourtney accused Kim of “copying her wedding, and using it as a business opportunity” when she collaborated with Dolce and Gabbana to launch a 90’s ‘s-inspired collection in which the style was similar to that of Kourtney’s wedding, according to BuzzFeed News.
According to Bustle, Kourtney had an issue with Kim’s behavior in her wedding along with the Dolce and Gabbana collab. She told Kim; “You’re talking about the bullshit details cause it’s all your egotistical, selfish mind can think about,” “You cannot stand someone else being the center of attention. You came to my wedding… you complained from the second you got there ‘till the second you left. You couldn’t be happy for me.” Kim reveals to Kourtney that she, the family as well as her friends have a side group chat titled “Not Kourtney”. “You hate us, you’re a different person, we all talk about it (speaking of her demeanor with her family)” she said, according to Bustle, and the season 4 premiere.
In the premiere we hear Kourtney’s heart-wrenching response to this: “It’s about you, you are a narcissist, it is all about you, anything you do is about you, and about how it looks to the world about you, so you just want to clear up your facts, take out my whole fucking side of the episode I don’t give a fuck, that’s what you have time for to sit, and have side chats specifically about me.” She tells her to “Get a life”, Kim claps back, and says that even her kids come to her with “problems that they have”, and “how she is.” Kourtney ultimately responds by saying that she’s a “fucking witch, and she hates her”. Kim finally responds with a “K”.
When Kim asked her sister if she was happy, as per Bustle, Kourtney said, “The happiness comes when I get the fuck away from you guys, specifically you.” Kim replies with: “I’m concerned, but I won’t be, because I’m a narcissist, so I’m only going to think about myself and be concerned about myself.”
Kourtney said in the premiere (sitting alongside Kim), I think, it’s just, there’s so many thoughts that come up after watching all of the edits, I think it felt to me like in the call that Kim was just like using any weapon that she can find, to like, to hurt me. You know just everything like, almost like weaponizing everyone against me, and I think we both got to a place that we weren’t proud of.
Since everyone has different personalities, fights (verbal or physical) are inevitable. Learning to deal with one another, adapt, or simply just keep one’s distance is essential. It is also important to remember that love, patience, positivity, and maturity go a long way in settling drama.
