We all enjoy the raw conversations that Joe Budden expresses on his podcast series, The Budden Podcast, but the fact that he called out a rapper on being one of the worst to grace a mic had viewers talking.
On the podcast episode titled “Do You Gotta Boyfriend,” which aired Oct. 11, the conversation started when the new song “Twisted” was brought up in a way that asked the fellow men if they would attend a strip club with Logic, French Montana, A$AP Rocky and Juicy J. Almost all of the host said that they would go to a strip club with Montana, Rocky, and Juicy, but some hinted not so much Logic, while others bluntly said no.
After playing the new song “Twisted” and laughing about Logic’s verse, the hosts replayed it while Budden rapped the lyrics to understand it. He rapped, “Get your ass up on the pole, let your worries go.”
He didn’t get halfway through the whole verse when he started questioning why people listen to him.
He then went on to say, “Logic, you are easily one of the worst rappers to ever grace a microphone, I’m gonna be honest with you,” Budden said. “I don’t know what they telling you at Def Jam. I know you sold a lot of records. I know you sell out a whole bunch of tours, and I know just how successful you are. I have to be honest, you are horrible, man.”
Budden is still not too worried about his comments and sticks by it, but we have yet to hear a reply from Logic himself about this. Check out the new single below and see what you think about the rapper’s verse.
I’ve been saying this for years, not sure why it’s news now. 🤷🏽♂️ https://t.co/wOpcGLj5lh
